Our introductory hiking-fitness program. This 4-week training program is geared for athletes who have a priority of hiking on wilderness trails, with the goal of achieving hiking-fitness on trails of 5 miles or less with ease. The target athlete is someone is focuses on day-hikes, carrying only daily essentials (not geared for overnight backpackers or trail runners). This program builds upon a baseline fitness of how well and efficiently you can hike 5-miles, with a focus on endurance efficiency, strength- training, mobility, and cardiovascular improvement.
