Our 6-week training program designed for backpackers planning on completing a multi-day thru-hike of less than 30 miles overall.  This program focuses on strength training in a gym setting, while also prioritizing hiking fitness in order to be ready to hike 10 miles each day with weight.  We also place an intention on rest and recovery after heavy days of cardio and lifting throughout each week, and aim to recover hard to prepare for a heavier week ahead.  This program is geared for semi-experienced backpackers who have previously completed several overnight backpacking trips.
